The Interagency Training clause establishes the framework for training activities that involve personnel from multiple government agencies. Interagency Training. The District and the City shall operate a joint training and orientation program for key personnel implementing this Agreement. District and SPR central scheduling offices currently operate training and for athletic directors will be jointly scheduled and developed by the SPR Athletics Scheduling Manager and District’s Executive Athletic Director and will be held annually at the start of the school year.
Interagency Training. The BSEE OSPD oversees Ohmsett – The National Oil Spill Response Research & Renewable Energy Test Facility (in ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, New Jersey). Operations at Ohmsett include the testing of mechanical containment and recovery (booms, skimmers, etc.), chemical treatments (dispersants, surface washing agents, and herders), remote sensors, in-situ burn equipment, and prototypes of new response equipment for conventional and alternate energy technologies. Additionally, Ohmsett is the site of both classroom and hands-on tank instruction on the use of oil discharge response equipment. BSEE also oversees the National Offshore Training and Learning Center (NOTLC) whose mission is to support the bureau’s goals by providing upfront and ongoing contemporary learning and development opportunities. BSEE will notify the USCG of upcoming BSEE-sponsored training both at Ohmsett and the NOTLC to make staff aware of and, where possible and subject to the availability of appropriations, provide USCG opportunities to attend training on a space-available basis.

  • EMHS Governance, Safety and Quality Requirements 4.1 Participates in the maintenance of a safe work environment. 4.2 Actively participates in the Peak Performance program. 4.3 Supports the delivery of safe patient care and the consumers’ experience including participation in continuous quality improvement activities in accordance with the requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and other recognised health standards. 4.4 Completes mandatory training (including safety and quality training) as relevant to role. 4.5 Performs duties in accordance with the EMHS Vision and Values, WA Health Code of Conduct, Occupational Safety and Health legislation, the Disability Services Act and the Equal Opportunity Act and Government, WA Health, EMHS and Departmental / Program specific policies and procedures.

  • STUDENT SAFETY The Parties agree that when a Student attending a College facility expresses to any College employee a suicidal intention or a threat of physical harm to others, a protocol to be agreed prior to the effective date of this MOU will be executed. The protocol will prioritize ensuring that the Student does not pose a threat to self or others. The College will prioritize transitioning management of the issue to School District, the parent / guardian of the student or the most appropriate authority or entity to address the crisis at hand. Often the College Police Department will assess the situation and coordinate that transition with its School District counterpart. School District designates College as its agent under any applicable statutory authority or parent / guardian consent to treatment for the limited purpose of this crisis-response intervention. When on the College campus, Students will follow the policies and procedures of the College to ensure the safety and well-being of the fellow classmates, faculty, staff and visitors. The Colleges will develop standard protocols for various emergency situations. To ensure safety precautions, the College enrolls all students, faculty and staff, including Students in Dual Credit programs, into emergency alert messages. These messages are sent to all groups mentioned via the College email, robocalls and text messages to the telephones listed in the system of record. Alamo Colleges District is subject to legislation requiring it to allow licensees to carry concealed handguns on its campuses effective August 1, 2017, and Students will potentially encounter license holders availing themselves of this privilege. Any notice of these facts to parents of Students will be the responsibility of the School District. Students traveling for College events will be required to sign an Alamo Colleges District General Participation Release as a condition of participation as is required of all students from each of the Colleges of the Alamo Colleges District.

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.
