Interagency. Involvement of two or more agencies to this Agreement.
Interagency. In instances of interagency conflict, the process and procedures as outlined in this contract, are to ensure services to which a child is entitled to receive are neither delayed nor denied due to the conflict. These conflicts may include issues of compliance with the federal statutory and regulatory expectations of the Part C/Early Intervention section of IDEA/MUSER; the responsibility for provision of or payment for services; the process for evaluation and placement; or other matters related to IDEA/MUSER. The following steps shall be taken to resolve an interagency dispute: 1. All attempts should be made to resolve disputes at the lowest operational level. 2. When disputes cannot be resolved at the lowest operational level in a reasonable time, they shall be referred in writing to the State Director of CDS and the State Director of OCFS and/or the Maine CDC. 3. If resolution is not achieved within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt, the matter shall be referred to the Commissioner of the Department of Education and the Commissioner of the Department of Health and Human Services for resolution. Any final decision will be shared, in writing, with the parties involved in the dispute.
Interagency. 4.3.1 For the period from commencement until April 2020 any families which began their assessment process in one of the member authorities, including Southwark, will count as assets of that authority, and will be offset against any potential interagency contributions the partner may be required to make as relates to 4.3.3. 4.3.2 If a member authority is in surplus at April 2020 (i.e. they have brought to ALS more families than their borough requires during the period from commencements to April 2020) the authority will receive the interagency payments associated with the surplus. 4.3.3 For the period from commencement until April 2020 any families which need to be paid for will be paid for by the member authority whose child/ren require that placement. 4.3.4 From April 2020 it is expected that ALS will be moving to a position of reduced reliance on interagency placements. From April 2020 there will be no interagency payments between any Parties and any interagency fees outside of the Parties will be managed within the ALS budget. Any overspends or underspends will be managed in accordance with paragraphs 4.4 and 4.5
