Common use of Insurance Program Clause in Contracts

Insurance Program. 1. The District agrees to provide to all unit employees through the New Mexico Public Insurance Authority, programs of medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance benefits. 2. The District will provide $50,000 in basic term life insurance at no cost to employees who are actively employed in paid status and who enroll for the coverage. 3. The District shall also provide employees professional liability insurance in accordance with provisions of coverage specified by the New Mexico Public Schools Insurance Authority, subject to the Tort Claims Act limit. 4. The District will provide Workers Compensation for on-the-job injury, in accordance with the New Mexico Public Schools Insurance Authority requirements.
