Instructional Services. Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, College Credit Plus courses will be taught in one of five formats:
Instructional Services. If specified in the Quote, Edgenuity will provide virtual access to teachers or coaches (or both) (“Edgenuity Instructors”) who are hired, trained, supervised, and paid by Edgenuity, and who will assist in the virtual delivery of the Licensed Material to students and their use of the Subscription (the “Virtual Programs”). Customer is responsible for (a) providing secure internet access for End Users to use the Virtual Programs; (b) all day-to-day management of the Virtual Programs, subject in all cases to compliance with Applicable Law and Customer policies; (c) obtaining all necessary consents for the provision of Instructional Services where they will involve direct contact between Edgenuity Instructors and students and parents; (d) determining appropriate student courses and verifying student schedules; (e) monitoring student attendance and ensuring compliance with applicable state requirements; and (f) assisting students not making adequate progress.
Instructional Services. The District agrees to loan the services of an employee (Loaned Employee) to JRCS to provide special education instructional services at the Charter School on an as- needed basis for the 2013-14 school year. The parties agree that while performing duties for the Charter School, the Loaned Employee shall act as an agent of JRCS and under its direction and control, subject to the District’s general oversight responsibilities as set in Paragraph B above. At all other times within the course and scope of his/her employment, the Loaned Employee shall act as an agent of the District and under its direction and control. Nothing herein or in the past practice of the parties shall be construed to alter the existing employment relationship between the District and the Loaned Employee, to permit JRCS to terminate or discipline the Loaned Employee, or to acknowledge or create a contract of hire, express or implied, between JRCS and the Loaned Employee. The District shall be solely responsible for all compensation and benefits to which the Employee may be entitled pursuant to his/her employment. However, in consideration of the District’s agreement to provide the services of the Loaned Employee, JRCS agrees to reimburse the District for the District’s actual cost of employing the Loaned Employee for the time for which the employee provides service to JRCS including all amounts payable to or for compensation, benefits and other out-of-pocket expenses.
Instructional Services. Management will provide an employee with a course assignment the following: access to materials and supplies needed to teach the assigned course(s); access to computer workstations; access to printing and photocopying services for class related purposes; access to administrative support services for standard and reasonable requests during normal work hours; access to space (but not necessarily office space) to meet with and advise students and access to private space when discussing confidential matters with students (including the ability to reserve a space consistent with departmental or program policy); access to departmental guidelines or procedures relevant to adjunct faculty; and access, upon request, to and the use of standard instructional software and computer programs used to teach the assigned course(s). An employee will be given access to a University email account, and shall regularly check for and return messages. The employee shall use the University email account for the employee’s communication with students and in the performance of other responsibilities as an adjunct. In emergency situations in which access to the AU campus is limited, Management will endeavor to provide support for employees to teach remotely. However, employees may be required to provide their own computer equipment and Internet access during such emergencies. If a course requires specialized software or equipment available only on campus, adjuncts should consult with their supervisor to make arrangements for access.

Instructional Services. The requirements of NCLBA mandates that an employee performing the above‐listed duties to meet either one of the following criteria: (a) Possess the statutory educational requirements, or (b) Successfully complete a rigorous examination that demonstrates through assessment of the employee’ ability to assist in instructing, as appropriate in, (1) Reading/language arts, writing, and mathematics; or (2) Reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness. The United States Department of Education, 34 CFR Part 200Title 1, sets forth within Section 20060 funding source and requirements that the Local Education Agency (LEA) has available to ensure funding needs for complying with the NCLBA. The District, and the Association, mutually agree that preparation materials, tutorial and testing program offered by The Cooperative Organization for the Development of Employee Selection Procedures (CODESP) provides sufficient standard of quality in the specified curriculum of instruction for meeting demonstration and proficiency of being a rigorous examination of the targeted employees. The Parties further agree that the CODESP program may be utilized for employee’ preparation, and its assessment to be recognized as the District’ rigorous examination. The following conditions will be afforded to existing employees within job assignment of duties defined within NCLBA as being that of a Paraprofessional, and who does not meet the criteria of possessing the statutory educational requirements of the NCLBA. The District, agrees that it will initiate action that will fund and provide a learning location and program without cost to the employees that will enable employee preparation through the provision of tutorial classes and materials for subsequent testing. The District will determine the location(s), and time of classes provided in support of the program. The District will exercise efforts in scheduling the classes for assuring employees’ ability to participate in the program. The Parties agree that although the primary purpose for providing said learning program is for assisting employees who have need of satisfying NCLBA requirements, any classified employee may avail him/herself to participate in the program contingent upon approval of program provider. An employee who participates in the program, however, he/she fails to successfully complete the testing component, may continue to receive program assistance up to January 8, 2006, and beyond if District fun...

Instructional Services. Instructional services at XYZ will be provided by the AEA in accordance with this contract. The AEA must provide its services at cost (no profit) and shall not use any AEA funding for the Consortium. Support services for special education, media services, and instructional services are the responsibility of the AEA, and shall be provided at no cost to the districts. The AEA is a purchased service and is not a member of the Consortium, is not a partner, and is not providing the program “in cooperation withmember districts. Purchased service providers shall not be paid prior to services being rendered or materials received. Contracting for a service does not re-characterize the nature of the costs. In other words, if the cost of an activity would not have been allowed from special education funding if the district were directly providing the program (such as operation and maintenance costs), those costs would still not be an allowable cost from special education funding if included in the billing from a private or AEA provider.
Instructional Services. District shall arrange for and provide all instructional services, including but not limited to appropriate course announcements, course descriptions and registration prerequisites, student selection and registration, pre- trip student orientation, lectures (staff and guest), student supervision, instruction by Trip Instructor and evaluation for said Educational Tour / Field Study Trip.
