The "Instructional Services" clause defines the scope and nature of educational or training services to be provided under an agreement. Instructional Services. Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, College Credit Plus courses will be taught in one of five formats:
Instructional Services. Management will provide an employee with a course assignment the following: access to materials and supplies needed to teach the assigned course(s); access to computer workstations; access to printing and photocopying services for class related purposes; access to administrative support services for standard and reasonable requests during normal work hours; access to space (but not necessarily office space) to meet with and advise students; access to departmental guidelines or procedures relevant to adjunct faculty; and access, upon request, to and the use of standard instructional software and computer programs used to teach the assigned course(s). An employee will be given access to a University email account, and shall regularly check for and return messages. The employee shall use the University email account for the employee’s communication with students and in the performance of other responsibilities as an adjunct.
Instructional Services. (i) Level 1 (A) A Level 1 position is one where the Employee may undertake the following types of duties: • Providing assistance to sporting teams/squads under the supervision of a teacher or an Instructional Services Employee (Level 3 or above) • Assisting with equipment and the preparations for, and conducting of, training sessions and/or sporting events (B) An Employee classified at this level shall fall within the scope of Classification Level B in Schedule 3 - Classification Framework. (C) Occupational equivalent: sports assistant. (ii) Level 2 (A) A Level 2 position is one where the Employee may undertake the following types of duties: • Perform duties applying to an Instructional Services Employee Level 1 • Providing assistance to individuals and/or sporting teams/squad under the supervision of a teacher or an instructional services employee (Level 3 or above) • Assisting with equipment and the preparations for, and conducting of, training sessions and/or sporting events (B) An Employee classified at this level shall fall within the scope of Classification Level C in Schedule 3 - Classification Framework. (C) Occupational equivalent: sports assistant, assistant sports coach, other types of coaches and tutors. (iii) Level 3 (A) A Level 3 position is one where the Employee may undertake the following types of duties: • Perform duties applying to an Instructional Services Employee Level 2 • Instructing individual students as part of an extra-curricular instrumental music program • Coaching, including developing sports training sessions and programs, for individuals and/or teams/squads in various sporting disciplines • Supervising instructional services employees (Levels 1 and/or 2) (B) An Employee classified at this level shall fall within the scope of Classification Level D in Schedule 3 - Classification Framework. (C) Occupational equivalent: instrumental music tutor, senior assistant sports coach, sports coach, other types of coaches and tutors. Note: An instrumental music tutor will not be employed at a level lower than Level 3. (iv) Level 4 (A) A Level 4 position is one where the Employee may undertake the following types of duties: • Perform duties applying to an Instructional Services Employee Level 3 • Preparing instrumental music students for external examination in their discipline as part of an extra-curricular program • Coaching individuals and/or sporting teams/squads, including developing and implementing individual and/or team specific t...
Instructional Services. If specified in the Quote, Edgenuity will provide virtual access to teachers or coaches (or both) (“Edgenuity Instructors”) who are hired, trained, supervised, and paid by Edgenuity, and who will assist in the virtual delivery of the Licensed Material to students and their use of the Subscription (the “Virtual Programs”). Customer is responsible for (a) providing secure internet access for End Users to use the Virtual Programs; (b) all day-to-day management of the Virtual Programs, subject in all cases to compliance with Applicable Law and Customer policies; (c) obtaining all necessary consents for the provision of Instructional Services where they will involve direct contact between Edgenuity Instructors and students and parents; (d) determining appropriate student courses and verifying student schedules; (e) monitoring student attendance and ensuring compliance with applicable state requirements; and (f) assisting students not making adequate progress.

Instructional Services. The District agrees to loan the services of an employee (Loaned Employee) to JRCS to provide special education instructional services at the Charter School on an as- needed basis for the 2013-14 school year. The parties agree that while performing duties for the Charter School, the Loaned Employee shall act as an agent of JRCS and under its direction and control, subject to the District’s general oversight responsibilities as set in Paragraph B above. The District shall be solely responsible for all compensation and benefits to which the Employee may be entitled pursuant to his/her employment. However, in consideration of the District’s agreement to provide the services of the Loaned Employee, JRCS agrees to reimburse the District for the District’s actual cost of employing the Loaned Employee for the time for which the employee provides service to JRCS including all amounts payable to or for compensation, benefits and other out-of-pocket expenses.
Instructional Services. The requirements of NCLBA mandates that an employee performing the above‐listed duties to meet either one of the following criteria: (a) Possess the statutory educational requirements, or (b) Successfully complete a rigorous examination that demonstrates through assessment of the employee’ ability to assist in instructing, as appropriate in, (1) Reading/language arts, writing, and mathematics; or (2) Reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness.

The employee shall use the University email account for the employee’s communication with students and in the performance of other responsibilities as an adjunct. In emergency situations in which access to the AU campus is limited, Management will endeavor to provide support for employees to teach remotely. However, employees may be required to provide their own computer equipment and Internet access during such emergencies. If a course requires specialized software or equipment available only on campus, adjuncts should consult with their supervisor to make arrangements for access.
Instructional Services. District shall arrange for and provide all instructional services, including but not limited to appropriate course announcements, course descriptions and registration prerequisites, student selection and registration, pre-trip student orientation, lectures (staff and guest), student supervision, instruction by Trip Instructor and evaluation for said Educational Tour/Field Study Trip.
