Inspection at Source Clause Samples

The 'Inspection at Source' clause grants the buyer or their representative the right to examine goods or materials at the supplier’s premises before shipment or delivery. In practice, this means that the buyer can verify the quality, quantity, and conformity of products to contract specifications while they are still at the supplier’s location, often through scheduled visits or third-party inspections. This clause helps ensure that any defects or non-conformities are identified and addressed before the goods are shipped, thereby reducing the risk of receiving substandard products and facilitating smoother transactions.
Inspection at Source. ORBCOMM reserves the right to request Government Inspection at source. In the event this right is exercised, OHB shall make all necessary arrangements with the appropriate Government Agency for such inspection and shall promptly furnish ORBCOMM with the resultant inspection certificate(s); and
Inspection at Source. Seller agrees to allow Buyer or its nominated agents access to all areas to determine if goods or materials are being made in accordance with specifications and schedules. Seller, without additional cost, shall provide all reasonable facilities and assistance for the safety and convenience of such inspectors. At the time of such source inspections, Seller shall make available to the inspectors copies of all drawings, specifications and packaging data, test samples, internal test results and similar information and access for observation applicable to the goods or material ordered hereunder. Such inspection shall be deemed as preliminary only and all goods or material ordered hereunder shall be subject to final inspection and acceptance in Buyer's plant or delivery point.
