Inrush current Clause Samples

The 'Inrush current' clause defines the maximum allowable surge of electrical current that occurs when equipment is first powered on. This clause typically specifies the acceptable inrush current levels for devices or systems, and may require that equipment be designed or tested to ensure these limits are not exceeded. By setting clear parameters for inrush current, the clause helps prevent damage to electrical infrastructure, reduces the risk of nuisance tripping of circuit protection devices, and ensures compatibility with existing power systems.
