Innovative Technology. Investigate, develop, demonstrate, validate, and apply emerging technology tools, techniques, methodologies, and equipment for various responses, service and support activities.
Innovative Technology. A technology which offers significant improvement over existing technologies, which is not broadly applied due to limited knowledge or established standards within the scientific and engineering community. This may include technologies that have been extensively field demonstrated, but have not been applied on a full-scale project. Innovative technologies must maintain public and worker safety.

Innovative Technology. The bidder is required to offer the most technologically advanced system available to the manufacturer, on the condition that the said system is already in production (i.e., not a beta test version), and which fully meets all requirements set out in the Tender. For the first shipment, the bidder/manufacturer is required to supply the most recent version of the system offered in the Tender, on the condition that it is not a beta test version, and which fully meets all requirements set out in the Tender. All new versions should be approved by IECo. Throughout the period (including the optional period – if the option is exercised) in which the system is supplied to IECo, if the manufacture of the system approved by IECo is stopped and a new version is produced, the new version should meet or exceed the performance of the system selected and approved from the said manufacturer. The new system should fully satisfy all requirements set out in the Tender – and the supply contract signed by the parties – and incur no additional cost penalty. The new version should be approved by IECo.
Innovative Technology. The Contractor shall innovate their field methods, evaluation and implementation work processes, engineering controls, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to perform in areas that present challenging work environments (e.g., areas with dense vegetation, industrial areas, residential areas, etc.). This includes use of value engineering.
