Initial Index Price. The "Initial Index Price" means the average of the closing prices per share of each of the common stocks of the Index Companies (defined below) as reported on NYSE, The Nasdaq Stock Market ("NASDAQ"), or the American Stock Exchange ("AMEX") on September 9, 1999 ("Initial Index Date"). The Initial Index Price computed as of a recent date is presented in Exhibit C as an illustration of the method of computation, but is subject to adjustment as provided in Sections 2.2.7 (Index Adjustments).
