Common use of Initial Contract Period Clause in Contracts

Initial Contract Period. 2.1. The Contract shall take effect on the 1st April 2013 and shall expire automatically on the 31st March 2015, unless it is terminated earlier or extended under clause 31. 2.2. There is the option to extend the contract by up to one (1) further period of twelve (12) months, if both parties are in agreement.
