Common use of Initial Conference Clause in Contracts

Initial Conference. Within twenty (20) Days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed, a conference attended by City, Design-Builder, and others as appropriate, will be held to establish a working understanding among the Parties as to the Work Order Package and to discuss the design concepts, updating schedules, progress meetings, procedures for handling submittals, processing Applications for Payment, maintaining required records, coordination with Subcontractors and other administration matters.
