Common use of Indirect Interconnection Clause in Contracts

Indirect Interconnection. Based upon the volume of Local Traffic anticipated to be exchanged by the Parties as of the Effective Date of this Agreement, the Parties agree that pursuant to § 251(a)(1) of the Act, CLEC may choose to indirectly interconnect with ILEC for the exchange of IntraLATA Traffic through the Verizon tandem (SYRCNYSU50T) provider. When either Party determines that the volume of traffic exchanged between the Parties warrants a direct interconnection (which for purposes of this Agreement shall mean an average of 250,000 two-way minutes of use over a consecutive three-month period), a direct interconnection will be established.
