Indexation technique. The salary scale rates are expressed on an hourly basis. When applying the general indexation parameters or other forms of improving the salary rates or scales, they apply to the hourly rate and are rounded to the cent. For purposes of publishing the collective agreements, the number of weeks to consider for the calculation of the hourly rate is 52.18. The annual rate is rounded to the dollar. The trailer jobs are increased as described in subparagraph 2 of clause 7.30. When rounded to the cent, the following applies: - When the decimal point is followed by three or more numbers, the third number and subsequent numbers are subtracted if the third number is lower than five.
