Incremental Assemblies Clause Samples

The Incremental Assemblies clause defines the process by which components or parts of a larger project are delivered and assembled in stages rather than all at once. Typically, this clause outlines the schedule for partial deliveries, the requirements for each assembly stage, and the responsibilities of each party during the incremental process. For example, in construction or manufacturing contracts, it may specify that certain sections of a building or product are to be completed, inspected, and approved before moving on to the next phase. The core practical function of this clause is to facilitate project management and quality control by breaking down complex deliverables into manageable segments, thereby reducing risk and allowing for early detection and correction of issues.
Incremental Assemblies. For some Projects, there may be a need to incrementally install certain assemblies. It is up to Contractor to identify areas and assemblies that may be constructed incrementally. Contractor must identify and establish incremental areas of construction and establish protocols with Inspector for DSA 152 approvals so they may be presented to DSA. See PR-13 item 2.1.10 for further discussion.
