Common use of Incident Notification Clause in Contracts

Incident Notification. Each Party undertakes to notify the other Party as soon as reasonably practical, but in no event more than 24 hours, after becoming aware of any accident, spill or incident involving the other Party’s employees, agents, contractors, sub-contractors or their equipment, or Shipper’s Products from the Pipeline and to provide reasonable assistance in investigating the circumstances of the accident, spill or incident. If any accident, spill or incident involving Shipper’s Products requires a report to be submitted to a Governmental Authority, Carrier shall notify such Governmental Authority as soon as reasonably practical in compliance with applicable Law. A copy of any such required report shall be delivered to Shipper.
