Incentive PI Sample Clauses

The 'Incentive PI' clause establishes a framework for providing additional compensation or rewards to the Principal Investigator (PI) based on the achievement of specific project milestones or performance targets. Typically, this clause outlines the criteria for earning incentives, such as meeting enrollment goals in a clinical trial or delivering results ahead of schedule, and details the calculation and timing of such payments. Its core practical function is to motivate the PI to achieve or exceed project objectives, thereby aligning the PI’s interests with those of the sponsor and promoting successful project outcomes.
