In Bargaining Unit. 4, seniority for purposes of job pick, transfers, shift and days off selection, where applicable in this Article, shall be defined as length of service in grade and classification within the Department of Correction. Those employees who are permanent in grade and classification will pick before others. In the event that two (2) or more employees have the same seniority date the tie-breaker will be the higher Civil Service score.
