Impermeability Tests. ‌ Where required on the Drawings or the Specification, or where directed by the Engineer, the concrete shall be tested for impermeability. Samples for the impermeability tests shall be in the form of 20x12 cm plates and shall be prepared, cured and tested in accordance with DIN 1048. Unless otherwise stated in the Particular Specification or elsewhere in the Contract, the requirement for impermeability shall be that, when a water pressure of 2 kg/cm² is applied to one side of the test specimen, no moisture shall appear on the other side.
