Hydrostratigraphic Framework Clause Samples
Hydrostratigraphic Framework. The hydrostratigraphic framework shall describe the elevation of the top and bottom of each of the hydrostratigraphic units. For each layer in the model, an elevation map of the top and bottom shall be generated that includes the location of the data used in the interpolation. Land-surface elevations shall be used as the top of the model domain. Land- surface elevation shall be defined by USGS 1-arc-second (30-meter) or appropriate finer resolution digital elevation models (DEMs). Thickness maps for each hydrostratigraphic unit shall also be developed. All information used to develop the hydrostratigraphic framework surfaces shall be fully documented as to data source, data interpolation techniques, and data quality.
