Common use of Housing Priority Clause in Contracts

Housing Priority. a. New students—To uphold the University of Mississippi’s residency requirement, priority will be given to freshman students. Housing is confirmed only after a student has been admitted to the University, completed a student housing application, signed the housing contract, and submitted a non-refundable $75 application fee. b. Continuing students—Currently enrolled students seeking on-campus housing for the upcoming academic year are required to complete a new application and contract and remit a non-refundable $75 application fee. Housing accommodations for sophomores and upperclassmen will not be guaranteed.
