HOUSEHOLD EQUIPMENT Clause Samples
The HOUSEHOLD EQUIPMENT clause defines the rights and responsibilities regarding the use, maintenance, and condition of appliances and fixtures provided within a residential property. Typically, this clause outlines which items are included as part of the rental or sale—such as refrigerators, stoves, washers, or air conditioning units—and may specify who is responsible for repairs or replacements during the term of occupancy. Its core function is to ensure both parties understand what equipment is included and how it should be cared for, thereby preventing disputes over ownership, maintenance obligations, or the condition of household items at the end of the agreement.
HOUSEHOLD EQUIPMENT. 31.01 The City shall furnish cooking and eating utensils, and other basic essentials utilized in the kitchens within the stations operated by the Walla Walla Fire Department. This is not to exclude any other services now furnished by the City.
31.02 Subject to the discretion of the shift officer, personnel may leave the station on Department apparatus for food and supplies.
31.03 All shift personnel shall be required to eat meals on the job and shall not be allowed to go home for meals while on duty.
HOUSEHOLD EQUIPMENT. All household equipment will be tested prior to your arrival. If there is any failure or breakdown of equipment, there will be no refund or rebates given. We will make every effort to have the problem resolved as soon as possible.
HOUSEHOLD EQUIPMENT. It shall be the responsibility of the staff person to provide all household appliances that are considered a convenience (i.e., washer, dryer, freezer, microwave oven, automatic dishwasher, blenders, can openers, etc.). As refrigerators, kitchen stoves, and HVAC systems are considered a necessity, the agency shall provide these items. A household appliance that ensures the preservation and maintenance of the existing structure, equipment and utility systems at the housing unit shall be considered a necessary expense (i.e. water softener). These items shall be purchased and maintained at state expense. Any convenience household appliance currently supplied by the state in a state-owned residence shall be maintained in the unit. Such appliances supplied by the state shall be eliminated pursuant to statute, through attrition, breakage or vacating of the premises by the staff person. Nothing in these procedures is to be construed as to cause the removal of these appliances upon the effective date of these procedures. The agency shall maintain a current and accurate inventory of all state-owned furnishings, fixtures, equipment, appliances and other non-affixed state-owned property that is in each state-owned residence at the facility.
