Hourly Minimum Wage. Rates In accordance with NRS Chapter 338, the ▇▇▇▇▇ County Prevailing Wage Region Rates for Public Works, State of Nevada, are set forth in Appendix C. Every worker employed by Contractor or any of its Subcontractors shall be entitled to the wage rate applicable to the particular class of that worker contained in the prevailing wage rates, as updated periodically by the Nevada Labor Commissioner, including zone pay applicable to this Work. In accordance with NRS 338.020, Contractor shall post the hourly and daily rates of wages to be paid each of the classes of mechanics and workmen on the Site of Work of this Contract, in a place generally visible to the workmen. In accordance with NRS 338.060, a Contractor engaged on public works shall forfeit, as a penalty to Authority in behalf of which the Contract has been made and awarded to such Contractor, not less than $20.00 nor more than $50.00 for each calendar day or portion thereof that each worker employed on the public work is paid less than the designated rate for any Work done under the Contract by Contractor or any Subcontractor under him; or is not reported to the Nevada Labor Commissioner and Authority as required pursuant to NRS 338.070. If a penalty is imposed, the cost of the proceeding, including investigative costs and attorneys' fees, may be recovered by the Nevada Labor Commissioner. Authority shall take cognizance of complaints of violations of the provisions of NRS 338.010 to 338.090, inclusive, committed in the course of the execution of the Contract, and when making payments to Contractor of money becoming due under the Contract, withhold and retain all sums forfeited pursuant to the provisions of NRS 338.010 to 338.090, inclusive. No sum may be withheld, retained, or forfeited, except from the final payment, without a full investigation being made by Authority or its agents. Contractor and each Subcontractor shall keep or cause to be kept an accurate record showing the name, the occupation, and the actual per diem, wages, and benefits paid to or on behalf of each worker employed in connection with the Work. The record must be open at all reasonable hours to the inspection of Authority, and its officers and agents. A copy of the record for each calendar month must be sent to Authority awarding the contract not later than ten (10) days after the end of the month.
