Homeschool Program. A. For purposes of this Contract “Homeschool Students” are defined as students whose parent or guardian or an adult relative designated by the parent or guardian is their teacher of record, and they have properly registered with their district of residence, or Department, if applicable, by providing a Notice of Intent Letter, and that desire to enroll in the Homeschool enrichment/umbrella program provided by the School, as a supplement to the. The School will develop a course offering of enrichment classes only for Homeschool Students, that may include, but not be limited to band, drama, art, and other subjects, as allowed under applicable provisions of the Colorado homeschool laws. Homeschool Students will attend the School in person on a part-time basis to receive instruction in the Homeschool Program. The School will additionally, plan events that integrate Homeschool Students with the traditional full-day students, creating a larger and more inclusive school community. The School will provide to students who register with the School as Homeschool Students, up to the maximum hours of curricular enrichment as may be allowed in accordance with applicable law or Department regulations in effect from time to time. The School shall not be responsible for any assessment reporting requirements with respect to educational progress of any Homeschool Student. The School shall receive part-time funding for each Homeschool Student enrolled in the Homeschool Program in accordance with applicable law. SECTION SEVEN: FINANCIAL MATTERS.
