HMO Coverage. In lieu of the coverage provided by the Self-Funded Plan, the teacher may select a health maintenance organization for medical coverage. In that event, the District will pay the premium up to the dollar amount that the District pays for similar coverage (single/family) to the Self-Funded Plan. Any excess premium cost will be borne by the teacher through payroll deductions.
