Hitachi. (1) Hitachi will use reasonable best efforts to cause its Wholly-Owned Subsidiaries (for so long as they are Wholly-Owned Subsidiaries) to comply with the terms and conditions of this R&D Agreement and Hitachi shall be liable for any breach of such terms and conditions.
