Common use of High Hazard Clause in Contracts

High Hazard. (Red) Zones. Areas in which an avalanche can produce impact pressures of 600 lbs/ft2 or more on flat, rigid surfaces normal to the avalanche flow, or that have return periods of less than ten years, or a combination of both. Avalanches in the red zone are designated by “R” on the Avalanche Hazard Map.
