HHS Access Sample Clauses
The HHS Access clause grants the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) the right to access certain records, documents, or facilities related to a contract or agreement. In practice, this means that contractors or covered entities must allow HHS representatives to review relevant information, such as financial records or compliance documentation, often for the purpose of audits or investigations. This clause ensures regulatory oversight and accountability, helping to verify compliance with federal requirements and detect potential fraud or misuse of funds.
