Head restraints Clause Samples
The "Head restraints" clause establishes requirements for the design, installation, and performance of head restraints in vehicles to enhance occupant safety. Typically, this clause specifies the minimum height, adjustability, and strength standards that head restraints must meet, and may outline testing procedures to ensure compliance. By setting these standards, the clause aims to reduce the risk of neck injuries, such as whiplash, during rear-end collisions, thereby improving overall passenger protection.
