Hand Carry Clause Samples

The "Hand Carry" clause defines the conditions under which goods or documents may be physically transported by an individual, rather than through standard shipping or courier services. Typically, this clause outlines who is authorized to hand carry items, the procedures they must follow, and any security or documentation requirements involved. Its core practical function is to provide a clear framework for situations where urgent or sensitive materials need to be delivered directly and securely, thereby reducing risks of loss, delay, or mishandling associated with conventional delivery methods.
Hand Carry. If an Exhibitor can carry the full contents of his/her booth materials in one trip by one person without the use of a hand truck, dolly, or wheels, he/she is free to hand carry the items in, at No Charge. Exhibitors choosing the Hand Carry option will be required to self-park and then bring in their materials through the main entrance of the Exhibit Hall. All handling for exhibit materials sent to Alliance’s Advance Warehouse as well as those unloaded at show site must be PREPAID at the Exhibitor's expense.
Hand Carry. Exhibitors may hand carry their merchandise from a privately owned vehicle. All vehicles must be parked in a parking lot; no curbside parking allowed. The use of hand carts and dollies is not permitted.
