Common use of Habendum Clause in Contracts

Habendum. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the Premises for a term of years commencing on Term Commencement Date and ending on the Termination Date as stated in Exhibit 2 or on such earlier date upon which said term may expire or be terminated pursuant to any of the conditions or other provisions of this Lease, or pursuant to law (which date for the termination of the term hereof is hereinafter referred to as TERMINATION DATE"), or any later date to which the term of this Lease may become extended pursuant to the provisions of Section 28 of the Addenda hereto annexed (if the term of this Lease becomes extended, the expression "term" as used in this Lease shall be deemed to include such extended term).
