GUILD ENGAGEMENT AND PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS. 2.1 The City agrees that the Guild has the right to encourage all employees in the bargaining unit to become and remain members in good standing of the Guild, and the Guild accepts its responsibility to fairly represent all employees in the bargaining unit regardless of membership status.
GUILD ENGAGEMENT AND PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS. 4.1 The City agrees to deduct from the paycheck of each employee, who has so authorized it, the regular initiation fee, regular monthly dues, assessments and other fees as certified by the Guild. The amounts deducted will be transmitted monthly to the Guild on behalf of the employees involved.
