Getting Information Clause Samples
The "Getting Information" clause establishes the right of one party to request and obtain relevant information from the other party during the course of their agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the types of information that can be requested, such as financial records, progress reports, or compliance documentation, and may specify the format and timeframe for providing such information. Its core practical function is to ensure transparency and facilitate informed decision-making by granting access to necessary data, thereby reducing the risk of misunderstandings or disputes.
Getting Information. In addition to the parties’ rights to obtain information under the Administrator’s rules, any party may submit a written request to the arbitrator seeking more information. A copy of such request must be provided to the other parties. Those parties will then have the right to object in writing within 30 days. The objection must be sent to the arbitrator and the other parties. The arbitrator will decide the issue in his or her sole discretion within 20 days thereafter.
