Common use of General Tort Indemnity Clause in Contracts

General Tort Indemnity. The Subrecipient agrees to and will at all times indemnify, save and hold harmless the County from all liability and claims, demands, damages and costs of every kind and nature, including attorney’s fees at trial or appellate levels, and all court costs arising out of injury to or death of persons and damages to any and all property including loss of use thereof resulting from or in any manner arising out of the negligence of Subrecipient, or its employees, agents, contractors, and/or subcontractors, or those under their control’s performance under this Agreement. The Subrecipient shall, upon request from the County, defend and satisfy any and all suits arising from its negligent use of the premises.
