General Study Objectives. Study Load / Contact Hours per week 15 ECTS contact hours per week various Content Acquiring basic knowledge of the language of one of the countries in the Central European Region, other than one's native tongue. Or expanding already existing knowledge of a language of one of the countries in the Central European Region. If a student has previously acquired sufficient knowledge of another language to meet the qualification objective, he/she can also choose to study aspects of the culture of one of the other countries in the Central European Region. Qualification Objectives A minimum of CEF A2 level in the language of another country in the Central European Region, and at least 15 ECTS completed in language acquisition of that particular language, or in aspects of the culture of that particular country. Teaching and Learning Format various Bibliography and Teaching Material various Assessment depending on teaching and learning format (N.B. Assessment of previously acquired knowledge of a foreign language could take place with the assistance of a language institute of the university of the student or that of any of the participating partner universities).
