Common use of General Final Clean-Up Clause in Contracts

General Final Clean-Up. Upon completion of Work, Contractor shall employ experience workers or professional cleaners for final cleaning. Clean each surface to the condition expected in a normal, commercial, building cleaning and maintenance program. a. Clean interior and exterior of buildings, including fixtures, equipment, walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, window ▇▇▇▇▇ and ledges, horizontal projections, and any areas where debris has collected, so surfaces are free from foreign material or discoloration; b. Clean the Project site. The grounds should be cleared of any Contractor equipment, raked clean of debris and trash removed. Sweep paved areas broom clean; c. Repair or replace any damaged materials. Replace any chipped or broken glass; d. Remove any and all stains; e. Remove labels that aren't permanent labels; f. Clean and polish all glass, plumbing fixtures, equipment, finish hardware and similar finish surfaces. Remove any glazing compounds; g. Remove temporary utilities, fencing, barricades, planking, sanitary facilities and similar temporary facilities from Site; h. Remove temporary film that remains on any hardware, doors or other surfaces and i. Seal the bottom and tops of all doors.
