General Activities. Coordinate Efforts with Directors from the Departments of Education in Huehuetenango and San Marcos: The Project worked with the planning directors in both provinces to register students in accelerated primary programs under the Ministry´s SIRE system.
General Activities. At its option, the Manager and/or the Hotel Operator shall have the right to plan, operate, organize, sponsor and promote activities and/or install temporary improvements on the Public Access Components, subject to applicable City ordinances, for the enjoyment of the general public under the terms of this Agreement. These activities may include, but are not limited to, the serving or sale of food and beverages, the installation of temporary structures and event equipment, including, but not limited to, an ice skating rink on the terrace during certain months of the year. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Manager and/or the Hotel Operator shall have the right to restrict access to, or remove people or property from, the Public Access Components which, in the sole, reasonable discretion of the Manager and/or the Hotel Operator, block, restrict, obstruct, cause a nuisance or otherwise impede or impair activities of the Manager or Hotel Operator, or activities related to the operation of the Hotel or the Project.
General Activities. The design partner reports to and will work closely with The Ark’s Marketing Manager who will manage the contract. They will be expected to attend regular meetings on-site at The Ark where they will interact with The Ark’s programming team as well as the Director and General Manager as necessary when presenting campaign ideas. There will be regular strategic sessions to evaluate and identify opportunities to refine the effectiveness of our communications. Day to day work will include (but not be limited to): • Creation of communications materials based on an agreed strategic design approach and to detailed briefs and budgets supplied by The Ark. • Working with and sourcing collaborators for the creation of these materials – e.g. Photographers, animators or video-makers as needed. • Managing the design process through all stages of development through to delivery of artwork and any required printed materials. • Creating adverts (as opportunities arise) based on the specific specs of that external publication. • Assistance in the development and delivery of The Ark’s Marketing and Communications Strategy. • Create an identity guide for the way that we use our logos, branding and style to empower The Ark’s team and other partners (as appropriate) to work within the agreed design approach and to integrate it across the organisation. Tender Process Interested parties are asked to complete an initial Expression of Interest by 5pm on Thu 5 May. These applications will be looked at by the panel and shortlisted to 3-5 parties who will then be sent a detailed brief for the presentations stage of the process. Shortlisted parties will be asked to demonstrate their understanding of The Ark and the supplied brief by presenting us with a detailed overview of the process that they would take to fulfil the brief and developing a long-term design approach to bring The Ark’s story to life. You will be encouraged to share some of your initial thoughts and ideas on the opportunities we could maximise. Part of the presentation will also involve you illustrating your process by talking us through a cross-platform project that you’re particularly proud of that had a similar longer-term strategic approach. Procurement of capital equipment items During the first year the majority of the capital equipment items for the regional office (vehicles, computing, communications and office equipment, as specified under Section 7.4.6) will be procured. In addition, computing equipment will be procured in support of information management activities for the IGAD secretariat and for three member states: Ethiopia; Kenya and Uganda.4

Each Party shall ensure that any sale, distribution or other transfer of a Licensed Product shall be subject to the appropriate label license (or other reasonable restrictions) under which such Licensed Product may only be marketed, promoted, and sold for use in its respective fields of use (with respect to Licensee, the Licensed Field of Use and with respect to Ganeden, the Excluded Fields of Use). Each Party shall use commercially reasonable efforts to prevent any Licensed Product sold or otherwise distributed by, or under the authority of, it or its Affiliates or licensees or sublicensees, directly or indirectly, from being sold, distributed or otherwise transported for use outside its respective fields of use (with respect to Licensee, the Excluded Fields of Use and with respect to Ganeden, the Licensed Field of Use). Each Party shall promptly notify the other Party in the event it or its Affiliate or licensee or sublicensee has reason to believe that any such Licensed Product sold or otherwise distributed has been or will be used outside its respective fields of use, and each Party shall not sell or otherwise distribute Licensed Product to any Third Party if it or its Affiliate or licensee or sublicensee knows, or has reason to know, that such Licensed Product may be sold or transferred, directly or indirectly, for use outside its respective fields of use.

Coordinate Efforts with Directors from the Departments of Education in Huehuetenango and San Marcos: The Project met with both directors this period to schedule activities for the 2015 school year. More specifically, technicians plan “Reading Week” in April and additional activities throughout the 180 days of classroom instruction in the school year.
