Common use of Fuel Tanks Clause in Contracts

Fuel Tanks. 5.5.3.1. All of the vehicle's fuel tanks shall be securely fixed and so situated as to be protected by the structure of the vehicle in the event of a frontal or rear collision. No part of a fuel tank shall be less than 60 cm from the front and less than 30 cm from the rear of the vehicle unless the vehicle has successfully complied with the frontal-impact and the rear-end impact requirement of Regulation No. 34; there shall be no protruding parts, sharp edges, etc., near the tanks.
