FTE Status Clause Samples
The FTE Status clause defines the employment classification of an individual as a Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) within the context of an agreement or policy. It typically outlines the criteria for FTE designation, such as the minimum number of hours worked per week or the proportion of a full-time schedule, and may specify how benefits, compensation, or eligibility for certain programs are determined based on this status. By clearly establishing what constitutes FTE status, this clause ensures consistent treatment of employees and helps avoid misunderstandings regarding entitlements and obligations.
FTE Status. For purposes of the application of provisions of the ONA Agreement 8 (such as Paid Educational Leave accrual, HCOC rotation), the number of hours scheduled 9 in the bargaining unit position shall be the designated FTE.
FTE Status. Employees working the sixteen (16) hour schedule will be classified as a .8 FTE.

FTE Status. The nurse is considered a 0.9 FTE, and has hours paid as described in this document. Seniority will accrue based on hours worked as described in Article 7 - Seniority.
FTE Status. If one partner wishes to return to a full-time status, notice must be given by March 1 (identify who gets which position in the application).
FTE Status. Upon request by a nurse, a department director or the Association, a nurse’s status will be evaluated based on the number of his/her paid hours (paid hours include hours worked, PTO, IAP, paid leave, Continuing Education, Bereavement, and Jury Duty) and low census time during the last three (3) months.
