Free Basic Rent Sample Clauses
The 'Free Basic Rent' clause provides that the tenant is not required to pay the base rent for a specified initial period of the lease. Typically, this applies to the first few months of the lease term, during which the tenant occupies the premises without owing the standard monthly rent, though other charges like utilities or operating expenses may still apply. This clause serves as an incentive for tenants to enter into a lease and helps offset their initial move-in or setup costs, making the property more attractive and easing the tenant’s financial burden at the start of the lease.
