Forward Correspondence Clause Samples

The Forward Correspondence clause requires that any communications, notices, or documents received by one party that are intended for another party must be promptly forwarded to the correct recipient. In practice, this means if a party receives mail, email, or other correspondence by mistake, they are obligated to pass it along without unnecessary delay. This clause ensures that important information reaches the intended party, preventing miscommunication and potential disputes arising from missed or delayed messages.

Forward Correspondence. Pass to the Landlord or the Landlord’s Agent, as outlined in clause 6.2 of this Agreement, without undue delay and as soon as is reasonably practicable following receipt, any notice or other communication left on or delivered or posted to the Property with the exception of obvious circulars or marketing material. The Tenant may be liable for penalties imposed on the Landlord arising from failure to reasonably comply with this requirement.
