Formal Level #1: Superintendent. If a complaint is not resolved in a conference between the affected bargaining unit member(s) and his/her immediate supervisor, the complaint may be formalized as a grievance. A formalized grievance shall be submitted in writing within ten (10) days of the meeting between the supervisor and the affected bargaining unit member(s). A copy of the grievance shall be sent to the union and the immediate supervisor. The immediate supervisor shall, within five (5) days of the receipt of the grievance, render a written decision. A copy of this decision shall be forwarded to the grievant(s) and the union. The written grievance shall include:
