Forfeiture of Salary Clause Samples

The Forfeiture of Salary clause establishes the conditions under which an employee may lose their right to receive salary payments. Typically, this clause applies in situations such as unauthorized absences, breaches of contract, or disciplinary actions, where the employer is permitted to withhold part or all of the employee's wages. Its core practical function is to incentivize compliance with workplace rules and contractual obligations by providing a financial consequence for certain types of misconduct or non-performance.
