Forfeiture Break Clause Samples

A Forfeiture Break clause allows a lease to be terminated early by the landlord if the tenant breaches certain terms, typically by failing to pay rent or violating key obligations. In practice, this clause gives the landlord the right to re-enter the property and end the lease if the tenant's default is not remedied within a specified period after notice. Its core function is to provide landlords with a mechanism to regain possession and limit losses when tenants fail to comply with essential lease terms.
