Foreign Interference. If BIOPURE or its successor or assignee is a U.S. company, and becomes, during the term of this Agreement or thereafter, directly or indirectly owned, controlled, or influenced by a foreign company or government (FOCI), then BIOPURE or its successor or assignee shall promptly notify NMRC to that effect.
