Foreclose on Collateral Clause Samples

The 'Foreclose on Collateral' clause grants a lender the right to take possession of specific assets pledged by a borrower if the borrower defaults on their obligations. In practice, this means that if a borrower fails to repay a loan or otherwise breaches the agreement, the lender can seize and sell the collateral—such as real estate, equipment, or inventory—to recover the outstanding debt. This clause is essential for protecting the lender’s interests by providing a clear remedy in the event of default and incentivizing the borrower to fulfill their obligations.
