For Standard Process Applications a. Once the application is determined to be complete, Unitil will conduct a technical review that may include a scoping meeting/discussion. Unitil will schedule the scoping meeting with the customer. b. Once the Technical Review is complete, Unitil will provide the customer with an Impact Study Agreement. The agreement will include a cost estimate for the study. c. Once the interconnecting customer executes the Impact Study Agreement and makes the required payment pursuant to the terms of the agreement, Unitil will conduct the Impact Study. d. Based on the results of the Impact Study, Unitil will determine if a follow on Detailed Study is required. If a Detailed Study is required, Unitil will provide the customer with a Detailed Study Agreement. The agreement will include a cost estimate for the study. Once the interconnecting customer executes the Detailed Study Agreement and makes the required payment, Unitil will conduct the Detailed Study. e. Once the necessary studies are complete, Unitil will provide the interconnecting customer with an executable Interconnection Service Agreement. The agreement will include; a description of all work required at the customer site and on the Unitil electric system, a cost estimate for any required Unitil distribution system modifications and witness test costs. f. Once the customer executes the Interconnection Service Agreement and makes the required payment pursuant to the terms of the agreement, Unitil will complete the distribution system modifications required. The customer also completes the installation of the generating facilities. g. Once the installation and system modifications are complete, Unitil will schedule an inspection of the customer’s generating facilities. If required, Unitil will also attend the witness test. The customer must also provide Unitil with a Certificate of Completion. h. Once the installation is deemed satisfactory by Unitil, Unitil will provide the interconnecting customer with written authorization for the interconnection.
