Flying Differentials Sample Clauses
The "Flying Differentials" clause defines how differences in quantities or values, such as weights or measurements, are handled when goods are in transit and subject to change before final delivery. In practice, this clause typically applies to commodities or bulk goods where factors like evaporation, spillage, or measurement discrepancies can cause the delivered amount to differ from the shipped amount. By specifying acceptable tolerances or adjustment mechanisms, the clause ensures that minor, unavoidable variations do not result in disputes or financial penalties, thereby allocating risk and providing clarity for both parties involved in the transaction.
