Flood Studies Clause Samples

The 'Flood Studies' clause defines the requirements and procedures for conducting assessments related to flood risks on a project site. Typically, this clause outlines when and how flood studies must be performed, who is responsible for commissioning them, and the standards or methodologies to be used. For example, it may require a qualified hydrologist to analyze floodplain data before construction begins. The core function of this clause is to ensure that potential flood hazards are properly evaluated and mitigated, thereby protecting the project and stakeholders from unforeseen water-related risks.
