Common use of Flood Area Clause in Contracts

Flood Area. The federal and state governments have designated certain areas as "flood areas." This means they are more likely to have floods than other areas. If this property is in a "flood area" normally the Buyer may obtain flood insurance. Seller makes no representation as to whether the Property is in a flood area and Buyer shall rely upon its own inspections.
