Fleet Requirements. A. DEFINITION OF "RENTAL VEHICLE".
Fleet Requirements. The Provider will provide sufficient spare capacity to ensure there are no service disruptions due to vehicle breakdowns or accidents. The Provider will provide appropriate replacement vehicles within 60 minutes of a service disruption resulting from a vehicle breakdown or accident.

CONTRACTOR will make no substitution of equipment without the prior written approval of the CITY. No primary in-service buses can be older than five years old. This restriction does not apply to designated back up buses. Newer vehicles are preferable. A generic white vehicle is preferred. In order to meet emissions standards, it is anticipated that the vehicles will be gasoline powered. (See Section 2.20 regarding Air Quality Standards) CONTRACTOR shall not use vehicles that are used to provide general public taxi service to provide CITY paratransit services under this AGREEMENT, unless otherwise authorized in writing by the CITY.
Fleet Requirements. 7 CONTRACTOR shall provide all appropriate vehicles, fuel, oil, maintenance and any other necessities 8 to maintain an ambulance fleet in a manner that meets OCEMS and California ambulance equipment 9 10 standards. The CONTRACTOR must require the use of seat belts in their vehicles. CONTRACTOR 11 must clearly demonstrate, for each EOA in which this Agreement applies that the CONTRACTOR’s 12 fleet has the ability to operate as a standalone fleet within the EOA and independently from the 13 CONTRACTOR’S operations in other areas outside of the EOA. 14 (1) Emergency Ambulance Vehicles 15 (a) CONTRACTOR shall provide Modular (type III) dual rear 16 wheeled ambulances for the provision of the required services. Each vehicle used shall have no more 17 than 100,000 miles on its odometer at the start of contract.
