FIRST HEART ATTACK Sample Clauses

The "First Heart Attack" clause defines how benefits or coverage are triggered in the event of an insured individual's initial heart attack. Typically, this clause specifies the medical criteria that must be met for a heart attack to qualify, such as confirmation by a cardiologist and supporting diagnostic evidence. Its core function is to ensure that insurance payouts or policy benefits are only provided upon the first occurrence of a heart attack, thereby preventing multiple claims for the same type of event and clarifying the scope of coverage for both insurer and policyholder.
